Come and join the Eco Group at All Saints Churchyard, Haslingfield, as we discover the trees and other plants - and more - growing in the burial ground, Vicarage Garden and Glebe Wood. Part of the "God's Green Acre" movement to protect and enhance natural spaces in church grounds, we will identify wildflowers, trees and, if we are lucky, insects such as butterflies and bees and record the information with the environmental records authority (CPERC). Experienced naturalists welcome, but no experience is required, just a smartphone and a download of a free plant ID app such as inaturalist or https://floraincognita.com/ OR your own illustrated guidebook. All ages welcome - special activities for children, and croissants and coffee available in the church!. This event is part of the Churches Count on Nature/National Burial Ground week celebrations organised by https://www.caringforgodsacre.org.uk/.
