The South Cambs Climate and Nature group (CAN) which includes representatives from many of our neighboring parishes, has organised an event to share what parishes are doing to restore biodiversity (hint - lots!!!). Even before the inspiration gained from the Local Nature Recovery Strategy some parishes have been using the Natural England Nature Recovery Toolkit to map and restore their habitats. Now, with further support available to 25 parishes (including ours) via the County Council From the Ground Up pilot project, members of CAN wanted to get together and share our successes, frustrations, visions and roadblocks. H&H Eco Group, with Friends of the Rhee, will be giving a short presentation, along with Duxford, Gamlingay, Shepreth and Bassingbourn. Tickets are already booking quickly. The event will take place at Gamlingay Eco hub on Saturday January 31 at 2 pm.
